Aeroplane survey: suitable for obtaining relatively large areas, for example an entire county, at high levels of detail. Remote control helicopter survey: suitable for small aerial surveys like a street or field. Extremely detailed photography and video can be captured using a gyro stabilised camera and a ground based operator manoeuvring a small helicopter. Pricing starts from around £600 upwards. Telescopic mast based survey: can be used for small surveys, perhaps of individual properties, and uses a camera or video camera based attached to the end of mast to gain the necessary height.
